Armenian music is used as a vehicle for presenting Armenian culture. Music can be analyzed as a component of an overall cultural strategy. Also considered is the interrelationship between music and education. These themes and others are presented in a live discussion on the show. The show features well-known Armenian composers and performers.
In 2016, Yerevan's Opera House presented the newest staging of Giacomo Puccini's "Tosca" and a new name of a director. "It is only through music that we should analyze the drama of the opera, what the composer wants to express," says Naire Stepanyan, lecturer at Yerevan Conservatory and a guest director at the Opera House. She believes her learning started with the classic books of the prominent Boris Pokrovsky, and today she is captivated by the stage world view of Italian avant-garde writer Emma Dante.
