London Olympics 2012: Armenian gold winner for Russia dreamed about medal from childhood
London Olympics 2012: Armenian gold winner for Russia dreamed about medal from childhood July 30, 2012

Representative of the Armenian community in Russia, Russian Olympic judo team participant Arsen Galstyan (60 kg) does not yet realize what is happening after he won the gold medal, he told sport-express.ru.

“I have dreamt of winning the Olympic gold since I was 9 year-old. Now I fulfilled my dream and it is a real happiness for me. I devote my victory to all my relatives and those who suffered from the Krasnodar flood. I hope my victory will inspire them to some extent,” Galstyan said.

To note, Galstyan (60 kg) defeated Japanese Hiroaki Hiraoka at the Judo Olympic final combat.
