Some of his plays such as "The Apple Cart," "Heartbreak House," "Saint Joan," "Too True to Be Good" express universal ideas that are still relevant today. Interesting is the fact that Show's dramaturgy that was not easily accepted on English stages received a world-wide acclaim and became one of the central phenomena of the literature of the 19th to the first half of the 20th century.
