Wisdom of Solomon
This book is one of the so-called deuterocanonical books of the Bible, that is, it is not part of the Hebrew Bible. The book was written by a Jew in Ancient Greek, in Alexandria, Egypt, and attributed to King Solomon. Despite this, the Book of Wisdom of Solomon occupied an important place not only in the Septuagint, but also in the Vulgate and in the ancient Armenian and Slavonic Bibles. Various excerpts from this book are read during the liturgical services of the Armenian Church.
